With Samsung and Huawei now officially boasting tri-fold smartphones in their lineups, we can expect more makers to join in, and a new certification from the Global System for Mobile Communications Association (GSMA) appears to shed some light on Xiaomi’s upcoming tri-fold.

We’ve already seen several rumors for Xiaomi’s tri-fold device, including a patent listing with some renders of the phone. The new listing suggests the device, which may be called Mix Trifold, features the 2608BPX34C model number.

We don’t get any additional information for now, but based on rumors, the device is expected to launch in Q3, 2026. It will feature top-tier specs, including an 8-series Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset, and triple cameras.
Based on the patent renders, Xiaomi will opt for a design similar to Huawei’s Mate XT Ultimate where the main screen folds inward.
