It’s not just the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max, Xiaomi is bringing a secondary screen to its smaller flagship – the Xiaomi 17 Pro too. The brand shared a teaser video on Weibo showcasing both devices with their new back displays integrated on the camera island.
Xiaomi did not share any additional details regarding the secondary screen’s size and specs. We can see they will offer multiple display options with watch faces, notifications and a camera viewfinder. As per the Weibo post, the back display will be called “Magic Back Screen”.
Xiaomi 17 Pro series
The last time Xiaomi added a secondary screen on its bar phones was on the Mi 11 Ultra back in 2021. That one was a much smaller 1.1-inch AMOLED panel taking up the corner of the phone’s camera island.
