Oppo unveiled the Reno15 series for global markets on January 1, then launched it in India a week later including a Pro Mini model.
Except that this Pro Mini (which is for India) corresponds to the global Pro model. The Pro model in India is instead the global Pro Max model. Oppo, please… Messy product names aside, these are some really cool phones.
The Oppo Reno15 Pro Max – aka Reno15 Pro in India – combines a large 6.78” display (10-bit OLED with 1272p+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate) with a 6,500mAh battery (80W wired, 50W wireless charging). It is powered by the Dimensity 8450 and features a triple camera – 200MP main (1/1.56”, OIS), 50MP 3.5x/85mm telephoto and 50MP ultra-wide.
A 12/512GB Pro Max costs NTD 25,000 in Taiwan, while in India, the Pro is INR 68,000 for a 12/256GB model and INR 73,000 for a 12/512GB model.
The global Oppo Reno15 Pro – aka Reno15 Pro Mini – packs a petite 6.32” display (10-bit, 1216p+, 120Hz) and a surprisingly large 6,200mAh battery (80W wired-only charging). It uses the same Dimensity 8450 chipset too and the same 200+50+50MP cameras as its Max-sized sibling.
The Pro 12/256GB costs NTD 21,000. The same model in India (as the Pro Mini) is INR 60,000 and there is a 12/512GB version for INR 65,000.
Finally, the Oppo Reno15 sits in the middle with a 6.59” display (10-bit, 1256p+, 120Hz) and a 6,500mAh battery (80W wired-only charging). It switches teams with a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset and has a 50+50+8MP camera including a 3.5x/80mm telephoto module.
The vanilla model starts at NTD 18,000 for a 12/256GB model and has a NTD 20,000 12/512GB option. In India, these models cost INR 49,000 and INR 54,000, but there is also a cheaper INR 46,000 version with 8GB of RAM and 256GB storage.
