The vivo X300 series is off to a strong start – the two new models got mostly positive results in last week’s poll. There is still the question of the global launch time frame and pricing hanging over them – the official launch is set for the end of the month, so expect more details next week.
The vivo X300 Pro got the thumbs up from one third of voters. We are still working on a full review, but we have a hands-on review with both the X300 and X300 Pro, complete with plenty of camera samples, so you can check that out – around 14% of voters could be swayed in favor of the Pro if it gets good reviews.

Nearly half of voters are looking at different flagships – the good news for vivo is that many of those prefer the small X300, while others are holding off until they see what the vivo X300 Ultra will be capable of. As good as the Pro camera is, the Ultra camera should be top tier.
Speaking of the small vivo X300, this too is proving quite popular. Yes, some would rather have the larger Pro. However, very few will bother waiting for the cheaper vivo X300 FE. There are a few small flagships around, notably from Apple, Samsung and Google, but not that many, so the X300 has a better opportunity to stand out than its Pro sibling (there’s no shortage of ~6.7” flagships).

Voters appreciated the larger batteries and that vivo finally moved to USB 3.2 for the Type C port. In terms of criticism, the small X300 could have had a larger camera sensor – the iPhone 17 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro all have 1/1.3” sensors, while vivo went with a slightly smaller 1/1.4” sensor.
Stay tuned for the in-depth reviews of the vivo X300 and X300 Pro.
