The vivo Y500 is scheduled to launch in China on September 1. Ahead of the official unveiling, the handset has been listed on the China Telecom website, which reveals its complete specifications.
According to the China Telecom listing, the upcoming Y series phone will sport a 6.77-inch OLED display with a Full HD+ resolution. The handset will be equipped with a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC, paired with 12 GB of RAM. It will be available in 256 GB and 512 GB storage options.
The vivo Y500 will run Android 15-based Origin OS 5 out of the box, as per the listing. It will offer a 50 MP primary rear camera alongside a 2 MP unit. For selfies, the phone will get an 8 MP camera. The listing also suggests that the handset will get an in-display fingerprint scanner.
vivo Y500 is listed to be 8.23mm in thickness and weigh 213g. It will be sold in Basalt Black, Dragon Crystal, and Glacier Blue colors.
Recently, vivo also confirmed that the Y500 5G will pack a massive 8,200 mAh battery and offer an ingress protection rating of IP69+/IP69/IP68. It will support 90W fast charging as well.
