The vivo V60 was announced in early August, initially for the Indian market. Now, the camera-focused V-phone is starting its global rollout with launches in Malaysia, Taiwan and Vietnam.
In Malaysia, the 8/256GB model is already available in Berry Purple and Mist Gray for MYR 1,850 ($440). The other storage options are not available.

In Taiwan and Vietnam, the phone isn’t available just yet. In Vietnam, it’s just ending its pre-order period, but the store hasn’t updated yet – you can check again later today.
Let’s do a quick recap of the phone itself. The vivo V60 is pretty tough, despite its slender 7.5mm build – it is rated IP68/IP69 and can survive being submerged under 1.5m of water for 2 hours of being sprayed with 80°C water jets.
Its focus is on the camera, particularly the 50MP telephoto module with a Sony IMX882 (1/1.95”) sensor and a 3x/73mm ZEISS lens with OIS. It has special modes like Telephoto Stage Portrait and Telephoto Landscape Portrait. Additionally, the phone has a 50MP main camera (1/1.56”, OIS) and an 8MP ultra-wide. For selfies at arm’s length, there is a 50MP front-facing camera with a wide 21mm ZEISS lens. Both front and back cameras are capable of 4K @ 30fps video recording.
The V60 is powered by the new Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and a large 6,500mAh Si/C battery with 90W FlashCharge. Bypass charging is available for gaming – the 6.77” 1080p+ OLED display has a 120Hz refresh rate and the chipset has enough oomph to run Mobile Legends: Bang Bang at 90fps.
“From its effortless photography to its drop-resistant design and long-lasting battery, V60 is a reliable companion that can keep pace with you and your most demanding tasks,” said Xun Tan, General Manager of Overseas Products of vivo.
