vivo is getting ready to unveil the S50 series next month, and ahead of that the company has today confirmed the S50 Pro mini’s chipset – it’s the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, just like a rumor said in late October.
Since this SoC isn’t official yet – it’s due to be unveiled on November 26 – you may have been wondering what to expect from it in terms of performance. And while we still can’t tell you that, we can however relay what vivo says about the S50 Pro mini it will power, namely that it will hit 3 million points in the AnTuTu benchmark.
It’s not clear which version of AnTuTu vivo’s Han Boxiao is referring to in his teaser post on Weibo, but that’s a great result regardless. The S50 Pro mini will pair the chipset with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.1 storage.
