Following the successful launch of the REDMAGIC 11 Pro, the company is introducing the next generation Air model. The new model brings improvements across the board over the REDMAGIC 10 Air, including the first active cooling fan in the Air series.
The new model launches globally on January 29. Fans can pick up an early bird voucher for $1/€1 from now until February 10 from the company’s website. This voucher is a ticket for early access on February 10 – open sales for everyone else start on the 11th. Additionally, the voucher can be redeemed for a discount and a free exclusive REDMAGIC Phone Stand. Again, early bird vouchers will be available until February 10.

The REDMAGIC 11 Air stays true to the Air series design with a slimmer and lighter build than the Pro series. It measures 7.85mm thick and weighs 207g, compared to 8.9mm and 230g for the 11 Pro.
The new Air model upgrades to the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset and the new RedCore R4 chip, up from Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and RedCore R3 on the previous Air.

The REDMAGIC 11 Air is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite and RedCore R4
The RedCore R4 chip handles super resolution and frame generation – it can boost a game’s frame rate to match the higher refresh rate of the new 6.85” display.
Snapdragon 8 Elite + RedCore R4 delivers flagship-level, ultra-smooth gaming. Built on the TSMC 4nm process, the Oryon CPU (up to 4.32 GHz) and Adreno 830 GPU (1,250 MHz) provide responsive performance with frame stability under intensive gameplay.
RedCore R4 + CUBE system scheduler optimizes CPU, GPU, and thermal performance, enabling:
- Smoother, high-quality graphics under heavy load.
- Stable frame rates across extended sessions.
- Efficient power management for longer gaming.
The REDMAGIC 11 Air can be configured with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 512GB storage. Storage uses faster UFS 4.1 chips, up from UFS 4.0 on the previous generation. There is a detailed breakdown of the available configurations, their prices and the early bird offers below.
While the previous Air was passively cooled, the 11 Air upgrades to a REDMAGIC ICE Cooling System. It consists of a 24,000rpm Turbo Fan, a larger vapor chamber with 40% higher heat diffusion efficiency and a graphene layer. An AI-assisted thermal management system dynamically allocates power between the CPU and GPU and controls fan speeds to maintain optimal temperatures and to avoid thermal throttling.

The new 6.85” OLED display has the trademark REDMAGIC design – a completely flat rectangle with no cutouts or camera punch holes. It has 1,216 x 2,688px resolution and ultra-narrow bezels. Magic Touch enables precise control for competitive gaming – the display has 144Hz refresh rate and 960Hz touch sampling rate.
Additional gaming controls are available in the form of shoulder triggers with 520Hz sampling rate. The refined design enables these triggers to be used in vertical games too. The X-Gravity Gaming Center offers full customization of the controls. The REDMAGIC features are easily accessible via the Magic Key.

While it maintains the slim and light body that defines the Air series, the 2026 model brings a significant battery upgrade to 7,000mAh capacity. This is 1,000mAh more than the 10 Air battery. It is designed for all-day use and supports 80W fast charging. The Charge Separation (battery bypass) feature reduces heat and extends battery longevity.

The REDMAGIC 11 Air is available in two colors – Phantom and Prism. Both have the characteristic transparent look, which is enhanced with RGB lighting with dynamic effects. The phone is designed for a comfortable grip and the lighter weight reduces fatigue after hours of gaming.
The phone has stereo speakers on board with DTS:X Ultra for immersive sound. The advanced X-axis linear motor adds realistic feedback on top of that.

The new Air is equipped with a 50MP rear camera (1/1.55” OV5E sensor) with an f/1.89 lens with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide. The lenses have APL coating to reduce glare and, as is traditional for REDMAGIC, they are almost flush with the back. Hiding under the OLED display on the front is a 16MP selfie camera (1/2.77”, OV16EQ) with an f/2.0 lens.
