Samsung just unveiled its Galaxy XR glasses in partnership with Google and Qualcomm. The South Korean tech giant also confirmed that it’s working on multiple other wearable XR form factors, including AI glasses.
In a press release, Samsung announced collaborations with Google and lifestyle eyewear brands Warby Parker and Gentle Monster for the upcoming AI glasses.
The company did not reveal what the AI glasses would be called or provide any details on when these glasses would be announced. According to a recent report, Samsung will launch its AI glasses in 2026.
Samsung’s upcoming AI glasses will be built on Android XR and offer seamless connectivity with other XR devices. The wearable will take on rivals such as the Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses.
