Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra benchmarked ahead of launch, chipset confirmed

Samsung officially unveiled the affordable Galaxy Tab S10 Lite and is now preparing for the flagship tablet launch set for next week (September 4). Naturally, this launch has been preceded by a number of leaks and here’s another one – the Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra has been benchmarked pretty extensively.

The Ultra slate is powered by the Dimensity 9400+ – we know it’s the Plus model because the Cortex-X925 core is clocked at 3.73GHz instead of 3.63GHz on the original 9400. This should put this debate to bed. Here’s a screenshot from the Device Info HW app:

Going into actual benchmarks, Geekbench 6.4.0, shows just under 2,500 for single-core and just over 8,700 for multi-core. For comparison, the outgoing Galaxy Tab S10 Ultra with its Dimensity 9300+ gets around 2,200 on the single and 7,500 on the multi-core test. However, the result is below the Galaxy S25 Ultra score (Snapdragon 8 Elite) with 3,000 single and 9,800 multi-core tests.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra will be joined by a vanilla Tab S11 model. The same event will also introduce the Samsung Galaxy S25 FE phone.

Leaked info suggests that the Tab S11 Ultra will cost $1,200 for a 12/256GB model, $1,400 for 12/512GB and $1,700 for the top-specced 16GB/1TB model (note the extra RAM).

Leaked specs show that the Ultra will have a large 14.6” OLED display like its predecessors and a slightly larger 11,600mAh battery with 45W charging. It will measure 5.5mm thick (other sources claim 5.1mm) and weighs 692g (compared to 5.4mm and 718g for the Tab S10 Ultra).

Check back with us next week for a detailed report on the new Galaxy Tab S11 tablets, the Galaxy S25 FE and any additional reveals coming to IFA 2025.
