It’s Redmi Note season, and the Note 15 series is now going global with 5 new entries. We’ll be covering the two Pro models in this post, and they’re shaping up to be minor upgrades over their predecessors.
Redmi Note 15 Pro and Note 15 Pro 5G
The Note 15 Pro duo comes with larger batteries than their predecessors with the Redmi Note 15 Pro offering a 6,500 mAh cell with 45W charging, while the Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G is outfitted with a 6,580mAh silicon–carbon cell.

Wired charging is still capped at 45W speeds for both models, but the Note 15 Pro 5G can now reverse charge other devices via cable at 22.5W speeds, while the Note 15 Pro can do 18W reverse top-ups.
On the design front, both Note 15 Pro models opt for flat displays. Note 15 Pro 5G gets a larger 6.83-inch AMOLED with 1.5K resolution (2,772 x 1,280px) and 120Hz refresh rate.
Note 15 Pro offers a 6.77-inch AMOLED with FHD+ (2,392 x 1,080px) resolution and the same 120Hz refresh rate. Both panels feature 12-bit color output and 3,200 nits peak local brightness. Note 15 Pro 5G gets the higher 480Hz touch sampling rate compared to the Note 15 Pro’s 240Hz.
The pair is outfitted with dual speakers with Dolby Atmos support and features updated ingress protection. Note 15 Pro is now IP65-rated vs IP64 on its predecessor, while the Note 15 Pro 5G is IP68 and IP69K rated compared to just IP68 on last year’s model.

Both phones also get upgraded MediaTek chipsets, but they are minor refreshes with CPU clock bumps and NPU enhancements. Note 15 Pro is equipped with Helio G200-Ultra, while Note 15 Pro 5G gets the Dimensity 7400-Ultra. You can configure the Note 15 Pros with 8/12GB RAM and 256/512GB storage.

In terms of cameras, you get the same 200MP main sensor (ISOCELL S5KHPE) alongside an 8MP (OV08F10) ultrawide lens on the Note 15 Pro 5G and an 8MP (GC08A8) ultrawide on the 4G model. Note 15 Pro features a 32MP selfie cam (OV32D40) while the 5G model gets a 20MP front-facing shooter (OV20B).
Both phones ship with HyperOS 2.0 based on Android 15, complete with Xiaomi’s AI suite, including AI Erase Pro, AI Remove Reflection, AI Image, Expansion, and AI Image Enhancement.
Redmi Note 15 Pro series color options
Redmi Note 15 Pro comes in Titanium, Glacier Blue, and Black colors. It starts at £249 for the 8/256GB trim.
Redmi Note 15 Pro 5G will be offered in Titanium, Glacier Blue, Mist Purple, and Black. The baseline 8/256GB trim is priced at £349, while the 8/512GB model is going for £399.
Pre-orders are expected to start on January 5.
