As expected, RedMagic 11 Air made its debut in China earlier today as a bridge between the thin and light phone trend and gaming phones. It arrives with the signature transparent design, an active cooling fan with RGB lighting and last year’s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.

Like previous entries in the RedMagic lineup, the 11 Air gets an unobstructed AMOLED display with a 16MP under-display selfie camera and an optical fingerprint scanner. The panel measures 6.85 inches in diagonal and features 1,216 x 2,688 px resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection.

Being a gaming phone, you also get capacitive shoulder triggers and top-notch RAM and storage. RedMagic 11 Air gets up to 16 GB LPDDR5X Ultra RAM with 9,600 MB/s memory bandwidth and 512GB UFS 4.1 storage, which goes up to 4,200 MB/s read speeds.

The 11 Air comes in at 7.85mm thick and weighs 207 grams. Despite the thinner and lighter design than other gaming phones, it still has a spinning fan that spins at up to 24,000 RPM speeds. It also features an IP54 rating against dust and water splashes.

The back houses a dual cam setup with a 23mm equivalent 50MP main cam armed with a 1/1.55” sensor and OIS alongside an 8MP ultrawide module.

The battery comes in at 7,000mAh and supports 120W wired charging speeds. The software side is covered by RedMagic OS 11.0 based on Android 16.
