The Poco X8 Pro got certified last month in Thailand, and now the X8 Pro Max has been certified in Indonesia by TKDN. The Poco X8 Pro Max has the model number 2602BPC18G, which was recently tied to the X8 Pro Max name by an IMEI database listing. The Poco X8 Pro Max was also certified by IMDA in Singapore and the EEC in the past.
The Indonesian certification doesn’t reveal any of its specs, but a leak in late January, based on information from code in Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, told us that the X8 Pro Max will have an 8,500 mAh battery, while the Poco X8 Pro will go with ‘just’ 6,500 mAh. Both will support 100W wired charging.

Based on their model numbers, the Poco X8 Pro seems to be a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5, and the Poco X8 Pro Max a rebranded Redmi Turbo 5 Max (but with smaller batteries).
Thus, the Poco X8 Pro should have a 6.59-inch 1268×2756 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM, and 3,500-nit peak brightness, the MediaTek Dimensity 8500 SoC at the helm, 12/16GB of RAM, 256/512GB of storage, a 50MP main camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide, and a 20MP selfie camera.
The Poco X8 Pro Max, on the other hand, will boast a 6.83-inch 1280×2772 AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 3,840Hz PWM, and 3,500-nit peak brightness, the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s SoC, the same RAM and storage amounts as the X8 Pro, and the same cameras.
