Oppo has launched the Pad Air5 in China following a series of teasers, including an official unboxing video.
The Oppo Pad Air5 is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 7300-Ultra SoC, paired with the Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. It is available in both Wi-Fi and cellular options.

The Pad Air5 sports a 12.1-inch LCD display with a 2800×1980-pixel resolution and a refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It supports a peak brightness of 900 nits.
Oppo has included an 8MP rear camera and another 8MP front-facing unit on the tablet. Both cameras support 1080p video recording.

The Pad Air5 gets a 10,050mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging. It runs ColorOS 16 and offers several AI features.
In terms of connectivity, the tablet offers Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth, 5G, and a USB Type-C port. The Oppo Pad Air5 is available in Starlight Powder and Space Gray color variants. There’s also a Soft Light version of the tablet that gets an anti-glare coating on the display.


As for pricing, the Wi-Fi variant of the Oppo Pad Air5 starts at CNY 1,899 ($270) for the 8GB/128GB model. Meanwhile, the 8GB/256GB variant is CNY 2,199 ($315), and the 12GB/256GB option is CNY 2,499 ($355). The 5G variant is currently listed in an 8GB/128GB option with a price tag of CNY 2,399 ($340).
The Soft Light variant of the Pad Air5 is available in 8GB/256GB and 12GB/256GB models priced at CNY 2,399($340) and CNY 2,699 ($385), respectively. The tablet will go on sale in China starting December 31.
