Oppo’s next flagship, the Find X9 Ultra, is expected to arrive with notable upgrades over the Find X8 Ultra, including a bigger battery. Although the company hasn’t confirmed a launch date yet, an Oppo executive has hinted at the phone’s battery capacity.
In response to a Weibo comment, Oppo’s Zhou Yibao revealed that the Find X9 Ultra will pack a battery larger than 7,000mAh.
Oppo Find X8 Ultra
Given that the Find X8 Ultra has a 6,100mAh battery, a 7,000mAh-plus battery on the Find X9 Ultra would be a major upgrade. The phone may even pack a 7,500mAh battery, especially since the recently launched Find X9 Pro comes equipped with a 7,500mAh unit.
The Oppo Find X9 Ultra is expected to debut in April 2026 with a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, and a quad-rear camera setup with a 200MP primary sensor, a 3x optical zoom periscope telephoto, an ultrawide, and a secondary periscope telephoto with longer optical zoom.
