There’s been a lot of talk surrounding the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s battery size. Some rumors claimed the S26 Ultra’s battery will be larger than the Galaxy S25 Ultra’s, which is 5,000 mAh, while others said it will be the same. Now, a new leak from China claims the Galaxy S26 Ultra will pack a slightly larger battery.
According to the source, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will pack a 5,200 mAh battery. That’s hardly an upgrade, but it’s a step in the right direction since the past few Ultra models shipped with a 5,000 mAh battery under the hood.

It’s also worth noting that this rumor contradicts a Chinese certification from August, which revealed the Galaxy S26 Ultra would pack a battery with a rated capacity of 4,855 mAh, meaning the advertised typical capacity would be 5,000 mAh. Hence, at this point, we’ll just have to wait for more sources to corroborate the Galaxy S26 Ultra’s battery capacity to be sure of how big the battery will be.
Regarding charging speed, previous rumors claimed that the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra will support 60W wired and 25W wireless charging. The Galaxy S25 Ultra supports 45W wired and 15W wireless charging.
