Huawei is set to unveil the Mate 80 series and the Mate X7 foldable on November 25 in China, but that’s not all. The company will also introduce the MatePad Edge tablet at the same event.
The MatePad Edge tablet features a 2-in-1 design with a detachable keyboard and runs HarmonyOS. It gets a pop-out stand at the back and a circular camera module with dual sensors.
The tablet will be available with up to 32GB of RAM and 2TB of internal storage. Huawei has already listed the tablet on its official Vmall online store, with pre-orders now open.
Huawei’s MatePad Edge will be sold in 16GB/256GB, 16GB/512GB, 24GB/1TB, and 32GB/2TB variants. It will be available in Moonlight Silver and Space Gray color options.
Meanwhile, tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed the specs of the tablet. It will sport a 14.2-inch display with an optional anti-glare screen option. The tablet will be powered by a Kirin 9 PC SoC and will feature an in-built active cooling fan.
The MatePad Edge keyboard accessory will offer a 65W fast charging port, 1.8mm of key travel, and a pressure-sensitive trackpad.
