The Honor Watch X5 was unveiled alongside the Honor 500 series in China. Honor’s newest smartwatch offers a large AMOLED display, GPS, and over 120 sport modes.
It comes with a 1.97-inch AMOLED display with a 390 x 450 pixel resolution, 2.5D curved glass, and a 60Hz refresh rate. The smartwatch weighs 29g without the strap and is IP68 + 5ATM rated.

The watch case is made of an aluminium alloy whereas the back uses plastic. The case features a single button with a rotating crown that’s used for navigation.
Honor’s Watch X5 comes with various sensors including a heart rate sensor (PPG) for activity tracking. It supports 120 sports modes, sleep tracking, women’s health tracking, and comes with built-in GPS.

For connectivity, the Watch X5 offers Bluetooth 5.3 and NFC. It features a magnetic port for charging. The smartwatch offers an AOD mode, Bluetooth calling, remote camera shutter functionality, and a Do Not Disturb mode.

In terms of battery life, Honor claims that the Watch X5 can last for up to 14 days under typical usage, and up to 5 days with AOD enabled. The smartwatch also gets a microphone and a speaker.
It works with both Android (9.0 or higher) and iOS (13 or later) devices and is available with a Black or White silicone strap.


As for pricing, the Honor Watch X5 is available for CNY 499 ($70) via the official Honor China online store.
