Honor launched the Magic8 Pro in China in mid-October, and today the device has also made its way to Malaysia, marking its global debut outside of China. It’s also on its way to Europe in the near future. Interestingly, the vanilla Magic8 didn’t make the journey to Malaysia.
The Magic8 Pro can be pre-ordered for MYR 4,599 ($1,113) with 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage and MYR 5,199 ($1,258) with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. The pre-order period runs until December 4.
If you do pre-order, you’ll get an Insta360 Ace Pro action camera for free, one-year front and back crack protection, one-year extended warranty, one-year liquid damage protection, three months of Google AI Pro access, and you will also receive a MYR 300 ($72) instant rebate upon completing the full payment.
The Honor Magic8 Pro comes with a 6.71-inch 1256×2808 LTPO OLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 4,320Hz PWM, and 6,000-nit peak brightness, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC at the helm, a triple rear camera system (50 MP main with OIS, 200MP periscope telephoto with 3.7x optical zoom and OIS, 50MP ultrawide with autofocus), a 50MP selfie camera, and a 7,100 mAh battery with support for 100W wired charging and 80W wireless charging. It runs Android 16 with MagicOS 10 on top.
