The Redmi Turbo 5 series contains the Redmi Turbo 5 Max, the brand has officially announced earlier this month. The Max suffix is new to this line, which previously only had vanilla and Pro models.
Now the Redmi Turbo 5 Max has allegedly been pictured in the renders you can see below, which you should take with a hefty dose of salt since they look like they’re AI-generated and we can’t vouch for the source.

Purported Redmi Turbo 5 Max renders
If this design is accurate, it looks like Redmi is going for a rather different look compared to the Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro. The phone still has just two cameras on the rear like those models, but arranged horizontally in an oval-shaped island, not vertically.
Other than that, we see some decently slim bezels, a pretty tiny hole-punch for the selfie camera, the buttons where you’d expect them to be on a Redmi, and the very iPhone-like curvature radius that most Chinese phones have adopted recently.
According to Redmi, the Turbo 5 Max will be the fastest phone with the biggest battery in its segment. Past rumors claimed it would be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9500s chipset, due to be unveiled on January 15.
