The Redmi Note 15 Pro series will be unveiled in China on August 21 and the company has started to tease the phones. In a series of posts on Weibo, Redmi has revealed the design and a few key details of the Note 15 Pro+.
Redmi Note 15 Pro+ will feature a design similar to last year’s Note 14 Pro+, according to official images shared by the company on Weibo. It will get a triple rear camera setup at the back. The phone will offer a curved body and quad-curved display.
In a separate Weibo post, Redmi confirmed that the Note 15 Pro+ will come with Xiaomi’s Dragon Crystal Glass on the front and a fiberglass back panel. The company claims the device has endured more than 50 drops onto granite from a height of 2 meters.
The upcoming Redmi Note 15 Pro+ is rumored to use the unannounced Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 SoC. However, a tipster has revealed that the phone will be equipped with the 7s Gen 3 SoC instead, but with an overclocked core to offer improved performance.
According to the tipster, the phone appeared on Geekbench with the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 SoC, featuring one core clocked at 2.71 GHz. This is higher than the standard variant, which has the same core capped at 2.5 GHz.
The Note 15 Pro+ is listed with 16GB of RAM and Android 15 on Geekbench. As per previous rumors, the + variant could offer satellite connectivity, a 1.5K resolution display, a battery with capacity between 7,000 mAh and 8,000 mAh, and a 50 MP telephoto camera.
