We’re just a day away from the Realme GT 8 series launch in China, and the brand has shared a few more details about the lineup. After recently revealing key specs of the GT 8 Pro, Realme has now turned its attention to the base model.
The Realme GT 8 will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, which will be paired with the R1 gaming chip. It will sport a 2K resolution flat display with a refresh rate of 144Hz, similar to the GT 8 Pro, and offer an in-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.

At the back, the phone will feature a Ricoh GR triple rear camera setup. It will get a 50MP periscope telephoto unit that will offer 3.5x optical zoom. The device will lack the interchangeable camera housing as seen on the Pro model.
Inside, the Realme GT 8 will house a 7,000mAh battery. The company hasn’t revealed the charging details of the phone. The phone will run Android 16-based realme UI 7 out of the box and offer five years of OS updates and security patches.

The GT 8 will feature a glass and metal build and offer IP69+IP68+IP66 dust and water resistance. It will be available in White, Navy Blue, and Green color options.
