Nothing has rolled out an update for Essential Space that brings an audio call recording feature to its smartphones.
With this update, Nothing smartphone users will be able to start recording calls by long-pressing the Essential Key or by tapping the “Start recording” option in the notification that appears during the audio call. The recording will be stored in the Essential Space after the call ends.
Nothing said the rollout is automatic and “no manual update required,” meaning it’s likely a server-side update.

However, it’s worth noting that this feature is only rolling out for three Nothing smartphones: Nothing Phone (3), Nothing Phone (3a), and Nothing Phone (3a) Pro. Moreover, the rollout is currently limited to eight countries: India, Japan, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, the UK, and South Korea. The feature will be available in more countries soon.
